PRACTICAL GUIDE
Plan a shared session before buying the game
Start with the people, devices and intended relationship between players. A multiplayer headline does not settle those details.
Name the arrangement
Decide whether you share a display or connect remotely, and whether you want cooperation or opposition. Read the exact mode labels on the game’s current store listing.
Check both sides
Compare operating systems, controllers, network requirements and any account or partner-pass conditions. Do not infer cross-platform play from online co-op; they describe different things.
Agree on pace
A busy kitchen and a turn-based battlefield create different kinds of social pressure. Make sure every participant wants the proposed rhythm before the trailer decides for the group.
